The Covid-19 pandemic has seen the cancellation of planned campus events, however the Māori @ Massey team have developed a special 5+ a day social media campaign to encourage and celebrate te reo Māori. About 10 of us are planning to get together this Saturday @our NZ Rotuman Community Centre and sing a Māori song. Will also upload it. Since Auckland is still in 2.5 lockdown , numbers are limited so our get together every Sat has been postponed. However, we will teach our mokopuna the Maori greeting Kia Ora , Nau Mai Welcome & Māori song when we all meet up again for our next Rotuman Language Classes
