    We recited a karakia then spent the time on whakawhanaungatanga since we are new team of people workign together. We shared our pepeha and learned more about each other, Finally we closed with a whakatauki.

    We had lots of pukapuka in te reo Māori, a phrase of the day in our chat group (with little video showing pron.), weaving cardboard strips, more pukapuka at mat time greetings and using te reo on session and kaiako and tamariki sang pakipaki tamariki ma at mat time (and recorded it.)

    Sending out a daily text to all nurses with words of the day and challenges. Prizes up for grabs for the nurses who take part and winners of some of the challenges I do Hui on Wednesday planning on taking the guitar and teaching a simple waiata. Also getting everyone to use the days of the week in Te Reo

    We listened to Waiata as students entered the room and set up to work. Students answered the roll using Te Reo Maori. We translated "Work comes from work" into Te Reo Maori "Ko te mahi ka ahu mai i te mahi" using google translator a bit of a whakatauki for our class!
